On the afternoon of this Monday (13), the award ceremony took place London Football Awardswhich rewards the main highlights of London football in 2022. With the incredible campaign in Premier Leagueo Arsenal was the club London with more appearances at the ceremony. Check out the winners:
The Power of Football
The first award given was in the “Football Power” category. With the achievements of Women’s Euro of 2022, the England team won the trophy.
Technician of the Year
The “Coach of the Year” award went to Mikel Arteta, from Arsenal. The coach gained enormous prestige due to the campaign he has been doing in the Premier League. You Gunners are leaders, with 66 points, five more than second place, Manchester Cityand accumulates 21 victories, three draws and three defeats, giving an 81.5% performance.

Player of the Year
The winner of the FA Women’s Super League Player of the Year award was Samantha May Kerrdo Chelsea. The Australian has 18 goals and four assists in 24 games this season. See the goal of the player that gave victory to the Blues against Manchester United in the last round of England Women’s League:

Player of the Year
The “English Football League Player of the Year” award went to Paul Smythdo Leyton Orient, of the third division. The Irishman has nine goals and an assist in 30 games this season. “I thank the fans for their support, I offer this award to you”, said the athlete.

Young Player of the Year
Bukayo Sakado Arsenal, won the “Young Player of the Year” award for the second consecutive time. The striker has had a magical season with the Gunners, with 13 goals and nine assists in 35 games. The Englishman dedicated his award to young Londoners.
Premier League Best Player
Martin Ødegaard, also from Arsenal, took the award for “Best Player of the Premier League”. The Norwegian is the maestro of the leader of the championship, with 10 goals and six assists in 33 games. Check out midfielder numbers for the Gunners:

Goalkeeper of the Year
Yet another Arsenal player has won an award at the London Football Awards. Aaron Ramsdale was named “Goalkeeper of the Year”. The archer made 27 appearances in the Premier League and conceded 25 goals, 21 from inside the area and four from outside. The number 1 made 62 saves in this edition of the Premier League, 44 from inside the area and 17 from outside.
