The Flemish cycling spring continues today with the Bredene Koksijde Classic. On paper a sprinter’s race, but attackers may put a stop to that.

Slopes are very rare in the Bredene Koksijde Classic. The last real hill is about 90 kilometers from the finish. Still, a sprint is not a certainty, because in the second phase of the one-day race the peloton passes the Moeren. The finish is expected between 4.10 pm and 4.30 pm.

Earlier in the day, the U23 race, also known as the Youngster Coast Classic, will also be held. The expected finish time is between 2:45 PM and 3:15 PM.
