Fluminense and Internacional tied 0-0, this Tuesday (21/03), at Estádio Luso-Brasileiro, in a game valid for the fourth round of the Brasileirão Sub-20. The team led by coach Ricardo Resende returns to the field on Saturday (25/03), when they face Boavista, at 10 am, at Estádio Vale das Laranjeiras, in Xerém, for the second round of the Carioca Championship of the category.
FIRST TIME
It was with Justen, after two minutes, that Fluminense demanded the first intervention of the game from the goalkeeper. The right-back completed Jefté’s corner kick with his head, sending the opponent into the hands. Arthur, from afar, risked the submission, as well as Agner.
In the 26th minute, Agner himself, taking a free kick, endangered Internacional. Shortly after, the archer intercepted the midfielder’s new free kick. At 35 minutes, after a beautiful tackle, Erick finished close to the post.
SECOND TIME
The Moleques de Xerém returned to the field threatening the Colorados. In the initial moments, Rafael Monteiro tried to finish the entry to the area. Then, the midfielder, when rehearsing the intersection, sent it to the goalkeeper’s hands, in a move similar to the one Jefté tried right after.
Freitas, from afar, dropped the bomb, but missed the target. At 12 minutes, served by Arthur, Justen filled the foot to finish the long distance. The home team followed on top of the visitors and, at 38 minutes, advanced with João Lourenço. The attacker, when clearing the marking, kicked over.
At 42 minutes, completing Jefté’s corner kick, Kayky Almeida headed in for the goalkeeper’s good save. João Neto, already in the added time, received a launch from Jefté and, with a header, scared the rival. In the end, Rafael Monteiro kicked cross out.
