Gaziantep Basketball bids farewell to the FIBA ​​European Cup

Gaziantep Basketball, which started the first period effectively with Mcintyre and Frankamp, ​​responded with the guest team Moore and Sobin. The Polish representative finished the first period leading 18-14. Starting the second period of the game with an effective game, Anwil increased the lead to 18 points in the 18th minute with both the paint and the outside points: 23-41. Although Gaziantep Basketball tried to close the gap with the points it found, the guest team got into the locker room with a 10-point lead: 33-43.

Starting the third period with a 7-0 series, the guest team did not give up the advantage in the 23rd minute: 33-50. Afterwards, Gaziantep Basketball, which scored consecutive points with organized attacks, managed to reduce the gap to 6 in the 28th minute: 48-54. Continuing his effective game, Anwil reopened the gap and finished the period ahead by 15 points: 51-66.

Increasing his superiority in the last quarter, Anwil increased the lead to 23 points in the 32nd minute: 51-74. Maintaining its dominance in the remaining time, the Polish team left the fight by 16 points: 75-91.

THE FANS DID NOT ALONE

Gaziantep Basketball, which did not withdraw from the league after the earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş and affected 11 provinces, will play its matches in Istanbul until the end of the season. Gaziantep representative, who hosted Polish team Anwil in the quarter-final second leg of the FIBA ​​Europe Cup, did not leave the fans alone. The fans supported their teams with their cheers.
