Messi gave all his fellow world champions and the Argentinian staff members a gold iPhone case. The attacker thus bought 35 personalized casings. The 24-karat sleeves bear the emblem of the Argentine Football Association, the player’s name and number, if any.
Irish entrepreneur Ben Lyons of iDesign Gold personally delivered the iPhone cases to Messi in Paris. The price tag is not too bad for someone who earns 41 million euros net. Messi bought all 35 covers with 197,000 euros, which is a good 5,000 euros per cover.
