Goran Dragic close to signing with the Bucks

Milwaukee can be reinforced in the next few hours with Goran Dragic. The veteran point guard, who was recently released by the Chicago Bulls, would have the Bucks as his first option at the end of the NBA season; reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

According to the aforementioned journalist, the Slovenian player will meet with members of the Wisconsin organization in the next few hours in what could be a definitive meeting; that is to say, he could leave it with a signed contract for the remainder of the course.

From Milwaukee they understand that Dragic’s qualities will be very useful to the team; especially when it comes to his leadership on a basketball court. They see him as an authoritative voice who can also contribute a lot to the group coming off the bench.

The truth is that the point guard The 36-year-old already considered playing for the Bucks before joining the Nets in the 2021-22 season. He is therefore not surprised that now it is his choice, even more so when it comes to a team that has won 16 consecutive victories and is among the favorites to win the ring in a few months.

Along with this more than likely move, Milwaukee has also closed a second 10-day contract with Meyers Leonard, who has played four games so far to average 2.8 points and 2 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per night.
