In order to bring in Messi, MLS clubs are ready to work together to fulfill his salary

tvOnenews.com – In order to bring in the Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi, a number of Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs will join forces to meet his salary demands.

Messi’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will expire in the transfer market this summer.

However, PSG will reportedly not activate the one-year contract extension option for fear of being hit by FFP.

In order to bring in Messi, as many as 29 MLS teams will jointly spend money so that the desired salary can be fulfilled.

Reporting from the French media, Messi’s salary at PSG reaches 900 thousand pounds or Rp. 16 billion per week.

According to Sport reports, this option was discussed by MLS club executives in February.
