Tigo Panama renewed its sponsorship for National Soccer for four years, with financial support of $9.4 million for the National Soccer Teams, in all its categories and genres, in addition to the Panamanian Soccer League (LPF).
Tigo will also award the winner of each season an extraordinary prize of $100,000 to continue encouraging the teams, in each of the LPF tournaments that are winners.

Soccer talent detection project
The Panamanian Football Federation (Fepafut) announced last week the launch of a new project for the detection and development of talent at the national level. The project called ‘Talent Detection Unit’ is part of a report led by FIFA and the renowned coach Arsene Wegner, called the Talent Development Scheme (TDS), which is about talent development. The project will have 6 national technicians throughout the country.

Soon Dragon Boat event
The Pan American Dragon Boat Club Championship is bringing together national teams to compete from March 16 to 19, in the waters near the Amador Causeway, in Panama City. Some 1,500 athletes from various countries are expected.
