The judo festival in Tunis!

Judo will be celebrating this week with the Tunis International Open (all categories), a traditional event, which will take place from March 9 to 12 at the Radès sports hall. A total of 179 judokas (112 men, 67 women) representing 42 countries are expected.

The traditional meeting in Tunis will this year bring together 21 African, 6 Asian, 10 European, 2 from Oceania and 3 Pan-American countries, announced the International Judo Federation.

The tournament will kick off on March 9 with competitions in the cadet and cadet categories, while the juniors will compete on March 10 and the seniors on March 11 and 12.

Gold medalists in the senior categories will earn 100 points in the world rankings while silver medalists will be awarded 70 points and bronze medalists 50 points.
