Beaten by the herd in the heart of Trastevere. A shocking violence. A boy beaten by three “strangers” including one armed with a baseball bat. A 27-year-old Roman reported him to the carabinieri, attacked for no apparent reason in Piazza Trilussa. The young man was then transported to hospital with a 30-day prognosis.
It was the 27-year-old himself who requested the intervention at 112 on the night between Friday and last Saturday. A 118 ambulance and the carabinieri of the Roma Trastevere company intervened on the spot. The victim awaits them, still wearing the signs of the beating and the bloodstains resulting from the attack. Then the complaint: “Three strangers approached me – the boy’s words -. After threatening me they attacked me for no reason. They beat me with a baseball bat and then they ran away.”
Entrusted to the care of the medical staff, the 27-year-old was then accompanied to the Santo Spirito hospital with a 30-day prognosis. Having listened to some witnesses, the carabinieri of the Trastevere company investigate the attack. Elements useful for tracing the herd could come from the vision of the security cameras in the area.
