In this edition, Russia also participates as a guest.

Taekwondo athlete María Celeste Áñez and swimmer Esteban Núñez del Prado led the Bolivian delegation as flag bearers of the national team, made up of 51 athletes from 13 disciplines out of the 33 included in the general program.

Fourteen of the 33 sports of the Games, which will be until April 29, will begin to be played from today.

Bolivia will enter the arena today in race skating, taekwondo, judo, swimming, fencing and bodybuilding.

They were suspended twice

The Games were held in 2007 (Venezuela), 2009 (Cuba) and 2011 (Venezuela). But different adversities prevented Quito (Ecuador) and Cochabamba (Bolivia) from organizing them in 2013 and 2015.
