Allianz France reaffirms its link with the Paris 2024 Olympics

Allianz France is gaining momentum as the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games approach! The brand is launching its new campaign We all need someone to lean on “. An operation designed with the Ogilvy Paris agency, which is part of the Allianz group’s partnership with the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees. But also within the framework of the personalized and continuous support provided by Allianz France for the benefit of a tight team of eight athletes, Team Allianz.

Honor trust…

The campaign highlights the relationship of trust that unites the athlete and his coach. A relationship unveiled through the daily life of a coach and an athlete from waking up to training. Everything is indeed filmed according to the codes of the documentary in which an analogy is made between the constant support of the coaches (towards the athletes) and the Allianz insurance business. The latter allows its customers, at each stage of their life and at all times of their daily lives, to rely on General Agents and advisers. He accompanies them day after day everywhere in France…

« We all need someone to lean on also marks the start of the countdown to Paris 2024. Fourteen months before the start of the international event, Allianz is reaffirming its historical link with the world of sport. And in particular its global partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Movements since 2021 for a period of eight years. Finally, five athletes from the Team Allianz, medal hopefuls at Paris 2024, are present in this film. These include: Clarisse Agbegnenou (judo), Carlota Dudek (breakdance), Juliette Lacome (surfing), Loïc Pietri (judo) and Typhaine Soldé (para-athletics). The five are accompanied by their respective coaches.

The film imagined by Ogilvy Paris was directed by multi-award winning director Stuart McIntyre. The latter is known for his respectful approach to filmmaking and his talent for telling strong and emotional stories. With his distinctive visual style and verve, he captures the excitement, authenticity and energy of every story.

Stuart McIntyre, Director of the film, specifies: I was particularly interested in the unique perspective that Linnea Kavsjo and Jonathan Baudet-Botelle brought to the screenplay. This one highlighting the coaches of the Olympians; individuals who are often overlooked, but who are dedicated to the success of their athletes! They provide hard work that puts them under significant mental strain. To pay tribute to them, we filmed real athlete coaches, their frustrations and their moments of joy… We made sure that the coaches’ perspectives themselves guided the script. It allowed us to immerse ourselves in their relationship and feel it. I’m proud of what I’ve created with the help of the talents of Wanda, Oglivy and Allianz. »

Multi-channel distribution

The film was broadcast in France on TF1 and M6 for the first time on Sunday April 16. And this, with a version of 60 seconds. Other channels also broadcast a shorter version of the campaign. This will also be available digitally, with a relay on social networks. And more particularly on Le Vestiaire Allianz, the accounts Instagram et Twitter dedicated to Allianz France’s commitments in favor of sport.
