ATP > Holger Rune: “First I was a fan of Nadal, I had posters of him all over my room. Then I became a fan of Federer and later I was a fan of many players”

While he has just ended his collaboration with Patrick Mouratoglou and is currently training on the facilities of the Masters 1000 in Monte‐Carlo, Holger Rune, author of a decent start to the season (14 wins for 7 defeats ), recently confided in a short interview with Gio about his childhood idols. And obviously, the young Dane had a hard time making his choice.

“I was first a fan of Rafael Nadal. He was number one at the time. I had Rafa posters all over my room. Then I became a fan of Roger Federer and later I was a fan of many players. To be more specific, I’m a fan of Verdasco’s forehand, Zverev’s backhand, Novak’s comeback, Roger’s moves, Rafa’s fighting attitude, etc…”
