Bundesliga: New season ticket prices! RB Leipzig is getting more expensive | Sports

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig increased its season ticket prices for the new season! The reason for this is increased matchday costs, especially for energy and staff, as well as inflation. RB had to increase season ticket prices a year ago.

In categories 1-6, the price increases by 8.6 percent. In the cheapest categories 7-9 by 14 percent.

For standing room, this means for a full-payer: The ticket will be 1.65 euros more expensive per game (from 11.76 to 13.41 euros). The new and thus cheapest season ticket will cost 228 euros in the future, previously it was 200 euros. Members of the official fan clubs pay 194 euros.

For the highest category, this means that the pitch will be 4.35 euros more expensive per game. So far, fans have paid 850 euros for a season ticket, from the new season it will be 924 euros (full-paying). Calculated down to one game, it is then 54.35 euros instead of the previous 50 euros. Members of the official fan clubs pay 832 euros for the season ticket.

In the Bundesliga season ticket price comparison, RB ranked ninth in standing room this season and was therefore in the lower midfield, with Wolfburg offering the cheapest ticket at 145 euros. The cheapest seat is 14th place in the league average (cheapest ticket here too is Wolfsburg at 220 euros). The comparison for the new season is still open, because other clubs will certainly adjust their prices.

Important for the fans: If you want to change your season ticket seat for the new season, you can do so until May 7th. New season tickets can be ordered from June 16, but only with reservations. And: In future, it will no longer be possible to pay in installments.

Strange scene! The referee refuses to shake hands after being sent off

With 32,200 season tickets, RB set a new record this season. And RB is also proud of that: The club is well positioned in the area of inclusion. The Red Bull Arena is one of the few stadiums with places for walkers, has a relatively large disabled area, there are also many volunteers on duty and a report for the blind.

Keyword no-show rate: Recently, many seats in the Red Bull Arena remained empty despite the season tickets being sold. A model like in Dortmund or at HSV, according to which season ticket holders have to attend a certain number of games, is currently not a solution for RB Leipzig. Instead, the club always wants to seek dialogue with the fans and refers to the ticket exchange as the official secondary market.
