Fluminense will host the 69th Brazilian Masters Swimming Championship, organized by the Associação Brasileira de Masters de Natação (ABMN), from Thursday (27/04) to Saturday (30/04). Among the 690 registered athletes, 48 ​​will defend the green, white and grená colors in the pools of Laranjeiras.

The competition will feature several events in the male, female and mixed categories. On Wednesday (04/26), pool recognition will take place. Among the tricolors, there will be 20 women and 28 men.

“The championship is once again hosted in Rio de Janeiro after many years, and Fluminense was chosen for that. I believe it is beneficial for both parties. I understand that the city and the club were important for us to have this high number of subscribers. And, on the side of Fluminense, it is always positive to host a national level competition, in terms of visibility and recognition”, declared Gyorgy Pavetits, director of master swimming at Fluminense
