Mike Tyson is a machine, and he will remain so. The proof ? After more than 15 years in retirement, ‘Iron Mike’ had a critically acclaimed exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr two years ago, well into his 50s at that point. A success that obviously gave ideas to Tyson, who could take part in a new fight of madness soon.

Asked by TMZ, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” has indicated that some promoters are pushing to organize a new confrontation between him and Evander Holyfield. As a reminder, the two men had clashed in 1996 and 1997 (two defeats for Tyson, editor’s note), notably giving rise to the famous ear bite that went around the world.

Now 56 years old, and still in great physical shape despite his mind-blowing weed consumption, the Brooklyn native would not deny a possible revenge against his ex-rival Holyfield. But as he made it clear, the subject mostly revolves around the size of the check he might cash:

Another fight? For the moment, I am calm. I did an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr, because I wanted to. Now people want me to do another fight, especially in Saudi Arabia. I don’t know. Evander Holyfield is like Jones Jr, I could be persuaded. I can be persuaded, even. I have to talk to people. I need to see people talking about money, and my brain will light up.

If a staggering sum is placed on the table, a Tyson vs Holyfield third party fight could therefore take place. But not all fans were happy with the news given the age of the two men, and some even joked, between fear and cynicism:
