Romelu Lukaku has been able to assert himself once again. With two assists, the Red Devil helped Inter with the three-pointer against Lazio Roma, the second in the standings. As a result, Napoli can be sure of the Serie A title this afternoon with a win over Salernitana.
Romelu Lukaku, the entire match between the lines for Internazionale, saw a goal by teammate Mkhitaryan disallowed for offside in the 27th minute. Moments later, Felipe Anderson on the other side made the nets vibrate after Acerbi lost the ball.
In the 78th minute, Lukaku found Lautaro Martinez with a nice through pass. The Argentinian outwitted Lazio goalkeeper Provedel, good for the equalizer. Barely a few minutes later, the Red Devil sent Robin Gosens with a lot of feeling. The German, who was injured in the action, pushed the leather in spectacularly in time. Immediately the second assists for ‘Big Rom’. Striker brother Lautaro Martinez gave Lazio the death blow in the final minutes: 3-0.
With six matches to play, Lazio follows with 61 points 17 points behind leader Napoli (78 points), which will receive Salernitana later in the day. If the Neapolitans win that match, the national title is a fact. Inter Milan climbs to fourth place with 57 points
