San Miguelito marches undefeated and leads the Women’s Under 18 Basketball League

At the close of the third week of the U18 Women’s National Basketball League (LBN), the San Miguelito Cobras march as the only undefeated in six games of the first round, beating the U Girls Hoops by a score of 69-37, in the first game of the ninth day that was held last Sunday, April 23 at the Roberto Durán Arena.

The best on offense for the representatives of the San Miguelito District were Roselyn Sánchez with 16 points, one rebound, three assists and three ball recoveries; followed by point guard Lya González who contributed with 10 points, two rebounds, both defensive, five assists and six steals; Alana Lezcano and Leanice Yearwood both scored 8 points.

In the second game, the Amazonas de Coclé achieved their second victory of the campaign by a score of 53-27 over the Leonas del West.
