Sanction from four to twelve games

The National Anti-Violence Commissionwhich has met during the morning of today, Monday, has transferred the File of Valverde’s attack on Baneawhich occurred inside the Santiago Bebnabéu stadium at the end of the clash between Real Madrid and Villarreal, at the Competition Committee. Said Committee will now initiate the procedures to determine the sporting sanction, in case it corresponds to the Uruguayan player.

The sanction may fluctuate, once the file is opened and allegations are received from the parties, between four and twelve games. It must be remembered that Villarreal did not file a complaint and the Committee has an obligation to act upon receiving the report from Antoviolencia.

Tebas on Valverde’s blow to Baena: “It is a reprehensible action”

Next Wednesday the RFEF body will meet to, among other things, launch the new file that determines the sanction. The file consists of the complaint filed by Baena at a Castellón Police station and the report that the same police opened after intervening at the Bernabéu. It is expected a minimum of month and a half to know the definitive sanction to the white player.

In Madrid, it is considered positive for the player’s future that the file has reached the Competition, since with the new sport law if the case were criminal the sanction could go with disqualification from one to six months for aggression.
