The competition takes place from April 29 to May 1 in the Salamanca courses of Zarapicos (Male) and La Valmuza (Female), with 180 players in contention, 24 of them FGCV athletes (11 boys and 13 girls).

The championship, scoring for the Cadet and Children’s National Ranking and valid for the R&A WAGR Both at the Male and Female level, it has Valencian players on the list of favorites if we take the order of HCP as a reference.

The tournament, which has ninety golfers in each category, is played in both cases over three days of 18 holes each, with a cutoff at 60th place and tied at the end of the second round. Making a bit of history, this tournament has been held annually since 1991 and has seen players like Jon Rahm, Carlota Ciganda, Sergio García, Rafael Cabrera-Bello and a long list of great athletes.
