The well-watched duel of the 30th round of FORTUNA:LIGA, in which the home team was trying to participate in the group for survival, while the guests were building their position among the units fighting for retention, started at 3 p.m.
Slezany was driven by a similarly large crowd as in autumn 2021. Once again, they could count on a more than solidly filled northern tribune.
“It’s not organized in any way. Everyone goes as it suits them,” one of the attendees told Denik the reason for the smaller number of fans traveling by train to the station in Svinov.

The first two trains arrived at Olomouc main station before noon. The other two, albeit delayed, followed about an hour later. But only a few fans scattered from each. It was either individuals or small groups. The police and the anti-conflict team supervised everything at the station.

“We chose our own route because it was more convenient for us, and the connections didn’t suit us very well today. Except for the last one, but we wanted to be here earlier than around half past two,” explained Karel to Deník, who went out to play football with four friends while they were walking around the city.
However, a slight exception was the last train, in which about one hundred to one hundred and fifty fans of the FCB brand were traveling. “Miner, we’re Miner,” echoed through the station before they exited the building and headed towards Andro’s stadium. This movement is also monitored by the police.
The miners did not make any disturbances in the stadium. “The match took place peacefully and we have not noticed any damage yet,” Sigma spokesman Jiří Fišara confirmed to Deník.
The police confirmed that the closely watched match was without excesses, which, considering that it was a risky match, deployed law enforcement officers, criminal investigators, a transporter, police dog handlers and members of the anti-conflict team. A new command and staff vehicle was also in use.
“Nearly nine thousand spectators watched the football match, of which approximately 2,100 were FC Baník Ostrava fans. During the security measure, there was no violation of public order and security, no misdemeanor or criminal offense was committed,” said police commissioner Marie Šafářová.
