The presentation and delivery of the competition clothing of the Neuquén delegation took place at the Ministry of Sports yesterday afternoon. In this way, Neuquén will participate in the 2nd Patagonian Integration Games in the city of Puerto Madryn, Chubut.

The selected Neuquén who will participate in the 2nd Patagonian Integration Games (JIPA) already have their clothing to compete in the contest that will begin this Thursday in the city of Puerto Madryn, Chubut.

In an act that took place at the Ministry of Sports on Monday afternoon, the competition clothing was delivered to the different selected who will take part in the contest that involves the provinces of La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and Neuquen.

The delegation made up of 130 people, including athletes, coaches, judges and companions, will leave tomorrow at 11:30 p.m. from the Ciudad Deportiva in the capital of Neuquén.

The Provincial Director of Sports, Carlos Torres highlighted the “athlete selection process carried out by the different federations in order to have the best representatives.”

“For us it was gratifying to have been able to have this meeting since it was the first time that we presented the clothes. It was a very nice meeting that was shared with the family because many parents came,” she commented.

Meanwhile, the General Director of Games and Competitions, Albertos Rosas, urged athletes to enjoy themselves, because the idea -beyond competitive issues- is that they have a good time and understand that sport opens doors, helps make new friends and getting to know places, as well as generating a habit to keep for a lifetime”.

Oriana González Vargas, who will participate for the second time in this competition in the archery modality, pointed out that “in March of this year I turned four years old with the activity that I practice at the Pacífico club. We had a good preseason and in my case I train with national coaches, in addition to the private coach. I was also able to do mental work that allowed me to be confident and give my best in the selective, ”she said.

Oriana said that last year in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, she achieved “an individual gold medal and another for teams. This year I try to do my best like last year and enjoy the competition”.

Ignacio Piñeiro, will also live his second experience in the JIPA competing in tennis and Martina Ogando has the same objective, another of the representatives in the tennis discipline that Neuquén will have.

This year, sport climbing will be added to the competition program, with which there will be nine disciplines that will compete in the event, which will also have taekwondo, artistic gymnastics, tennis, Olympic lifting, wrestling, archery, badminton and table tennis. The last three also include the adapted modality.
