KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian contingent is still in third place in the SEA Games 2023 Cambodia medal standings as of Tuesday (16/5/2023) afternoon WIB.
Based on data from NOC Indonesia until 15.30 WIB, the Red and White contingent had collected a total of 249 medals.
The medals consisted of 83 gold, 69 silver and 97 bronze.
Indonesia is still below Vietnam and Thailand, which occupy 1-2 positions consecutively in the 2023 SEA Games medal standings.
Vietnam sits on top with a total of 325 medals (125 gold, 101 silver, 99 bronze.

Thailand followed behind him with 100 gold, 83 silver and 96 bronze medals (279 medals in total).
Golden harvest badminton
Until the 2023 SEA Games medal standings published by the NOC were revealed at 15.30 WIB, the individual badminton sport had contributed two gold medals.
The two gold medals were presented by Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati (mixed doubles) and Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi (women’s doubles).
Rehan/Lisa won the rubber game over Malaysian representatives Roy King Yap/Cheng Shu Yin 20-22, 21-8, 21-16, in 56 minutes.

Meanwhile, Ana/Tiwi – Febriana/Amalia’s nickname – arrested compatriot Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Allessya Rose.
Ana/Tiwi won straight game 21-17, 21-16, over Meilysa/Rachel in 45 minutes.
About an hour later, badminton again contributed a gold medal through Christian Adinata’s men’s singles.
Christian Adinata won the all-Indonesian final against Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo with a score of 21-12, 18-21, 21-18.
Indonesia has the opportunity to add one more gold medal from the men’s doubles sector through the pair Pramudya Kusumawardana / Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan.
