USA.- The Dominican basketball player from the Boston Celtics squad, Al Hoford, has stated that he will not participate with the Dominican Republic team for the Basketball World Cup to be held in August.
According to the player, his participation in the World Cup is not feasible at this time.
The sportswriter Franklin Mirabal, the Dominican Basketball Federation (FEDOMBAL) had planned to communicate with Hoford, but apparently it is already a decision made.
The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be held in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10. The 32 participating teams will play 92 matches over 16 days.
