FC Bayern, News: Davies consultant confirms interested parties
Alphonso Davies still has a contract with FC Bayern Munich until 2025. It should be extended as soon as possible – but that could be more complicated than expected. “Some clubs are interested,” revealed Davies’ agent Nick Huoseh TSN. “But there are still no concrete talks.”
In view of the left-back’s contract situation, concrete talks would only be allowed with Bayern anyway. “Davies has two years left on his contract and Bayern Munich hopes to extend the contract, but nothing has been confirmed yet,” said Huoseh.
According to media reports, Real Madrid and Manchester City are said to be interested in Davies. He is demanding from Bayern a doubling of his salary from the current nine million euros – a hefty sum.
FC Bayern, rumor: Sadio Mané wants to stay in Munich
So far, the pairing between FC Bayern and Sadio Mané has not been a success story. That’s why there are already rumors that the paths will part again in the summer and Mané could return to the Premier League.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, these rumors are not true. Mané and his consulting agency ROOF have no such plans. Mané has a very good relationship with coach Thomas Tuchel, wants to stay and win titles with Bayern.
The 31-year-old came from Liverpool in the summer of 2022 for around 32 million euros. His contract runs until 2025.
FC Bayern, News: Miroslav Klose raves about Niclas Füllkrug
The former Bayern striker raved about Niclas Füllkrug. “I’ve really liked him for a long time. There aren’t many people who have a nose and a degree like him,” said the World Cup record scorer dpa. Werder Bremen’s goalscorer was last associated with the German record champions.
Füllkrug is an “exciting striker,” added Klose, before talking about the departure of Robert Lewandowski: “That’s the whole package. The defenders can’t adjust to him at all. He has a strong head, is fast, and is good at combining games , strong with both feet.”
Klose complained that a striker of this class was currently missing from the Bundesliga: “Of course, the numbers got smaller in the season after Robert Lewandowski. As an assistant coach at FC Bayern, I was able to experience him for a year, how he works, how complete he is is how many goals he scores, how many assists he gives. It’s just fun to watch.”
Nevertheless, Klose is confident that there will soon be several good strikers in the Bundesliga again. “If you look at this year’s decisions in the DFB Cup and championship for the U19s – something is coming. You can say that there are a few nines coming back,” he said.
FC Bayern, News: Hotspur wanted Mané and Upamecano
Tottenham Hotspur was once apparently interested in today’s Bayern stars. That’s what former Spurs scout David Webb did talksport reveal.
According to Webb, who was active at the London club between 2015 and 2017, Liverpool FC “outranked” his employer at the time. The Senegalese switched from Southampton FC to the Reds in 2016 for 41 million euros.
Upamecano would also have been on the wish list, as the 43-year-old explained. The central defender ended up on the Isar via RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig.
FC Bayern, News: Leipzig fears Laimer trick
On Saturday, FC Bayern meets RB Leipzig in a home game at 6:30 p.m. – probably the biggest remaining hurdle in the fight for the championship title. Konrad Laimer is also likely to play against Bayern, with the sparrows whistling from the rooftops that the defensive midfielder will play for Bayern from 2023.
Sea sports picture RB now fears that Bayern could announce the free transfer in the run-up to the game in order to stir up unrest in Leipzig.
