Badminton, Sudirman Cup 2023: Malaysia, China Taipei, South Korea and Japan in the quarterfinals

The curtain has fallen on the fourth day of the Sudirman Cup 2023, international badminton tournament for mixed teams of great prestigeand the verdicts have arrived in relation to the teams they have reached the quarterfinalsin group challenges C e D.

In the first group mentioned they faced each other Malaysia-China Taipei and India-Australia. In the review that is being held at Suzhouin Chinese, the Malaysian team clearly prevailed, prevailing in four of the five matches that took place. Malaysia made the difference in doubles, winning men’s, women’s and mixed and collecting a success among men with Lee Zii Jia, who scored 21-14 23-21 against Chou Tien Chen. China Taipei which achieved its only success in women’s singles, signed by Tai Tzu Ying by 21-8 21-10 against Goh Jin Wei.

Again for 4-1 came the affirmation of India against Australia, which however was not enough to guarantee the Indians the passage to the next stage. In fact, the Malaysian team and China Taipei will be in the quarterfinals.

In Group Dmust be registered South Korea’s victories against Japanfor 5-0, and della France versus England with the same score (5-0). For the purposes of qualifying, the Korean and Japanese teams, strengthened by the results of the previous matches, will continue their adventure in this competition.
