The work of the Italian national baseball teams is about to restart. The next May 18thwith Serie A 2023 nearing the end of its first phase, the meeting of the Under 23 team will start in Reggio Emiliaready to compete this summer i European Championships 2023 by categorystaged from Tuesday 8 to Saturday 12 August.
It will be an event fundamental importance for our colors. In fact, the continental event will be giving away two places for the World Championships to be held in China in 2024. For this reason coach Alberto D’Auria is motivated to prepare the competition in the best possible way, studying in detail all the characteristics of his boys. Not surprisingly, the Azzurri will be 24 recruited in Emilia.
Most of the group is represented by athletesthose coming precisely from the championship of the top flight Italian. Next to D’Auria stand out Rolando Cretis (pitching coach), Gianmario Costa (bench coach), Federico Bassi (coach), Alessandro Bortolomai (coach), Christian Gnudi (coach), Michele Corbo (athletic trainer), Frankie Russo, Sergio Arigano (physiotherapist), Davide Ortolina (doctor) and Riccardo Soglia (Team Executive).
