Celtics miracle: a buzzer beater by Derrick White brings Miami back to Boston (3-3)

The Celtics want to come back from hell, and they don’t care about the Kaseya Center crowd as much as they take possession of the field right from the tap-off (29-34 after 12′). And they lead up to 5′ from the end, giving the sensation of really being able to write the history of this championship (88-98).

Except that the factor that brought the Heat from the last chance of the play-in to the conference final was not taken into account. “Jimmy Buckets” scored just 11 runs, with 4/20 thus far.

Five minutes later, he finished the game with 24 points, having scored 13 of the Heat’s last 15 points, including 8 free throws. The Celtics are dazed, as heroes they find themselves down by one and ball in hand with 3″ to the siren after Butler’s 3 on 3 which establishes the Miami lead.

With only one chance not to write instead of the biggest joke ever, Derrick White puts the ball back and the shot goes to Marcus Smart. The ball dances on the iron and comes the providential tap-in of White himself on the siren.

Never in NBA history has a team won a series after being down 3-0. The Celtics can always be the first to do it, and that’s obviously all we’ll remember from this Game 6.
