For the first edition of the Classique Miguël Fréchette, there were 66 badminton enthusiasts for this competition which was held on Saturday at the Collège Clarétain.
This classic was set up by the Club badminton Bois-Francs to pay tribute to this 23-year-old Warwickois who died following a fatal hit-and-run at the end of 2022.
One of the club’s three founders, Jérôme Fradette, mentioned that they could have welcomed more players because demand was so high.
This classic completed the loop of this first season of the Club which saw the light of day last September.
About forty regular players were at the club’s weekly meeting.
