Recently and to celebrate the World Day of Physical Activity, the Colegio el Labrador de Victoria opted for a motivated and interactive week of celebrations, with the purpose of fostering and promoting healthy living habits through physical activity, because there they believe that giving Giving priority to these recreational activities reinforces the comprehensive well-being of students.

The activity was in charge of the Physical Education Department, teachers Walter Chavarría Gatica, Betsy Muñoz Ramírez, José Daza Benavente, and Carla Díaz Ortega, who organized active breaks for the entire school community, with the support of the teaching staff and managers. .

The students participated energetically in each recess from NT1 to IV° average; The activities were different per day and in their respective gyms (basic – medium), motor circuits, motor stories, nations, table tennis, mini-volleyball, badminton, basketball, baby-soccer and to finish the last day, held a massive entertaining dance class for the entire school community, with gifts and prizes for participation, this in turn was combined with healthy eating juices, fruit, water, and motivational stickers.

Regarding the activity, the 4th A student, Martín Campos, stated that “as a student, I find it extremely entertaining to participate in activities or games that require physical effort and teamwork. I noticed that most of the students also had fun when competing and much more when different teachers joined. Generally, in high school we do not do physical activity during breaks and the week of physical activity, apart from motivating us to participate, was fun and took us out of our routine. It should definitely be repeated.”
