Even before the Dresden Titans left for the season-ending trip to Mallorca on Monday, the team received the happy news that the fifth in the main round of the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga Pro A will be able to take part in the BBL Cup in the new season. In the first round on 23./24. September is played, the Dresdeners will meet a first division team from the second half of the table of the past season. The first eight of the BBL have a bye in round one, the teams in places 9 to 16 come into one of two lottery pots for the first round of the cup.
