In Frankfurt am Main, a minor referee has been threatened with death.

The father (48) of a player had told the 15-year-old that he would behead him. Background to the crazy statement of violence: His son’s team had lost the district cup final.

The referee association Frankfurt (SRVGG) reports on the unbelievable incident in the game FC Kalbach against Germania Enkheim (0:2) and shows a video on Instagram. To see: A crowd of young players cheering, while from the background a man storms towards the referee.

The short clip doesn’t hear what the brutal shouts at the youth who is retreating several meters. But BILD knows the details from the special report. The 48-year-old is said to have said: “I’ll behead you. I fuck your mother.”

The Frankfurt police confirmed on request that criminal charges of insult and threats were filed against the man.

“He insulted the referee from the first minute”

Sad: “The man is well-known throughout the city and is always so aggressive on our football pitches,” said a spokesman for the Frankfurt Referee Association.

And further: “He insulted the referee from the very first minute – also because of such banal decisions as throw-ins.” others: “You sons of bitches, are you blind?!”

Apparently the brutal annoys even his own team. A supervisor of the losing team said to an SRVGG official: “We are used to him behaving like this.”

After the death threat, the victim was “not doing well, he had to let it sink in first. It was an absolute shock!

But to ensure the safety of the referees, the SRVGG calls on the arbitral tribunal and the district football committee to finally act. “We have told our referees that no game will be kicked off without a court marshal.”
