Good start for Río Negro in the Integration Games

Previously, on Thursday 25, the opening ceremony took place where all the participating young athletes from the provinces of La Pampa, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Neuquén, Río Negro and local provinces were present.

On the first day of competition, the Province was left with five medals in table tennis, counting the conventional modality and the adapted one, two in Olympic lifting and three in artistic gymnastics.

Río Negro also had a good start for the tennis team that entered the semifinals of mixed doubles, ladies’ doubles and two individual semifinals, one for men and the other for women. While also, during this first day, the Olympic wrestling, badminton and archery teams competed.

On the other hand, today Saturday the climbing and taekwondo teams will take the stage and Sunday will be the day the final number of medals won by each province will be announced.

In this way, young people from Río Negro enjoy representing the Province in a new Patagonian competition, aimed at young people up to 17 years of age in the conventional modality, while for athletes with disabilities the age range is from 16 to 25 years.
