Guaranteed to finish second in Ligue 1, Lens placed 4 players in the standard team of the championship at the UNFP Trophies (see here). A great pride for the Lens environment Fofana School (28 years old, 35 games and 7 goals in L1 this season) who took the opportunity to sting Paris Saint-Germain, the champion of France for a time challenged by the Sang et Or in the standings.
“We are enormously rewarded with 4 players but I think we deserved to have more, joked the Ivorian international. It was a pride to compete with Paris. I think they panicked a bit at one point, that’s the game.”
