Animal support in Saudi Arabia, even if it’s not a goldfish: Lionel Messi with his sons

What do Lionel Messi and a goldfish have in common? They are insatiable, taking whatever they can get – and not picky about what goes down their maw.
Man can sometimes get silly ideas when soccer millionaire Lionel Messi leaves his club PSG without permission in order to rake in even more money as a tourism ambassador for Saudi Arabia, and shortly afterwards Bayern striker Thomas Müller speaks of a “goldfish mentality”.
So let’s look up what the fish is all about. The goldfish, one learns, is insatiable and not choosy about what goes down its throat. He digests quickly and is constantly begging for more food.
If you then find out that the goldfish even feels comfortable in brackish water, your thoughts go back to Messi and don’t seem so stupid anymore: the Argentine takes everything he can get and even frolics in the Saudi pond as an ornamental fish , who is completely clouded with all the bloody violations of human rights.
Incidentally, when he said “goldfish mentality” in a different context, Müller meant the ability to quickly forget the past and look ahead. So let’s follow the advice, forget the exceptional footballer Messi and see him as a Raffzahn.
