Madness at Valencia-Real Madrid: Vinícius is treated racist and gets red in the final phase after a serious riot | Prime Division

Real Madrid lost 1-0 on the field of Valencia on the 35th match day of La Liga, but the game in Mestalla will undoubtedly have a tail. From the 72nd to the 104th minute there was hardly any football. A seething Vinícius was the victim of racism and had to go to the side after a riot with red.

Sad scenes in Valencia-Real Madrid. Twenty minutes before the end, Vinícius was racially abused. The Brazilian, particularly angry, confronted the home crowd. The flank attacker refused to continue playing, but was urged by his teammates to continue anyway. Not much later, the game resumed.

From then on things remained unfriendly in Mestalla, where players and supporters alike clearly targeted the hot-tempered Vinícius. The lightning-fast attacker of Real Madrid was grabbed by the neck after a serious confrontation and responded with a blow. The Valencia player did not receive a card, but Vinícius had to go to the side with a red card. In doing so, he addressed the Valencia supporters. The Brazilian raised two fingers, meaning that Valencia will be relegated to second division.

Although the chance that ‘Los Che’ will fail is small. Valencia actually won 1-0 against Real Madrid and thus did an excellent job in the standings. It jumps over three teams to thirteenth place, five points from the relegation zone. Diego López scored the only goal. Thibaut Courtois prevented the 2-0 just before half-time after a great save. Eden Hazard was not in the core.

Atlético Madrid was not surprised by Osasuna: 3-0. Yannick Carrasco opened the scoring just before half-time with his sixth league goal of the season. The Red Devil tapped the ball into goal after a low cross from Antoine Griezmann. Saul Niguez doubled the lead for the Madrilenians in minute 62. Substitute Angel Correa scored the 3-0 and sealed the fate of the team from Pamplona. Carrasco was replaced in the 85th minute, Axel Witsel completed the 90 minutes for Atlético.

With the three points, Atlético (72 points) jumps over Real Madrid (71 points) to second place in La Liga. FC Barcelona previously secured the national title.
