NBA: the Heat without Vincent for game 5

The Miami Heat will look to end the Eastern Final against the Boston Celtics tonight in Game 5.

With a 3-1 series lead, however, the Heat will have to play without Gabe Vincent. The starting guard injured his left ankle late in Game 4 and will be sidelined for tonight. Against Boston, he was 58 percent on all shots, and 50 percent on three-pointers.

Kyle Lowry is expected to get the start at Boston’s TD Garden.

The Heat are already without the services of guards Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo. Vincent has started 15 playoff games this year, averaging 13.1 points per game.

The Celtics will try for the second consecutive time to stay alive. They won the final game 116-99 thanks to a performance of 33 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists from Jayson Tatum. Jimmy Butler also stood out in the loss with 29 points.

The winner of this series will join the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals.
