Piacenza Baseball looking for redemption on friendly turf against Seveso

After last Sunday’s disappointing away match in Milan, Piacenza finds the home diamond again to seek immediate redemption: on Sunday 14 May Cabs Seveso arrives at De Benedetti, a newly promoted team made up of a very young backbone with a great desire to emerge, to which is added a pair of expert high-level players from Venezuela. The overall performance provided by the red and white last Sunday on the Ares field helped to sink the team’s morale, as well as complicate the situation in the standings: with Milan dominating, the other results outlined a ranking that mirrors those seen in recent years in Group A, i.e. a block of teams paired or separated by only one length. It goes without saying that being only the fifth day, a return to the road is not impossible and an immediate redemption with a double as early as Sunday could open the doors for Piacenza to a positive cycle in view of the playoffs.
