The best NBA prop bets today: SuperDraft player prop picks for Heat-Celtics Game 2 – Jugo Mobile

To no one’s surprise, the continually underrated Miami Heat enter Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals leading 1-0 over the second-seeded Celtics in Boston tonight (8:30 p.m. ET, TNT). All eyes will be on this pivotal clash of East Coast titans, and as we explained in our betting preview, punters will likely find it difficult to make traditional spread and moneyline bets on either side. Still, it looks like a perfect opportunity to enter the SuperDraft with some high-value player props.

Simply put, Jimmy Butler is awesome. The Heat superstar has established an iron-clad reputation as one of the NBA’s fiercest players at both ends of the court, and his legacy only grew in Miami’s Game 1 victory Wednesday night. He joins Michael Jordan (whom conspiracy theorists believe is Jimmy’s father) as the only other player to ever record multiple playoff games with 30 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals. James Lipton of “Inside the Actor’s Studio” may have described the performance as “simply sublime”.

As much as the Celtics seem to allow their opponents to get back into the game (and series), Joe Mazzulla’s team has also proven time and time again that they can bounce back with authority. Boston is 4-1 after losses this postseason and an NBA best 20-10 after losses dating back to the start of the regular season. Jayson Tatum, a turtle hidden in his shell at the end of Game 1, will need to be more like the 51-point scorer we saw in Game 7 against Philly and less like the guy we saw hitting zero shots in the fourth quarter against Miami on Wednesday. We expect good things from both Tatum and fellow All-NBA pick Jaylen Brown, both of whom we’ll talk about in a few minutes.

If basketball fans want to bet on more important performances by Butler, Tatum or Brown, SuperDraft it’s a great site to do that. SuperDraft punters can choose an over/under on two or more props for players. If they hit both legs of a two prop bet, they win up to 3x the amount wagered. Potential yield increases each time a prop is added. Think of it as a “Same Game Parlay”. More legs equals more risk, but also a bigger potential payoff. However, not all players have the same props, so keep that in mind when choosing your over/under plays and try to win some cash in tonight’s match.

SuperDraft Player Prop Picks per Heat-Celtics Game 2

Jaylen Brown, G/F, Celtics — OLTRE 24,5 punti

Jaylen Brown Celtics

A silent fire burns within Brown, who seems to be perpetually considered this teammate of the Celtics. When Tatum can’t rise to the level Boston needs from its MVP candidate, Brown steps up time and time again. After losses this postseason, JB is averaging 25.8 points per game. In the Celts’ eight home playoff games, he averaged well over 25. In Boston’s three regular season games against Miami, Brown averaged 30.3 points on 57.6% shooting. As long as Butler is committed to Tatum defensively, Brown will be the secret to the Celtics’ success in this series. Don’t be surprised if we see 35 of JB tonight, never mind 25.

Jimmy Butler, F, Heat – OLTRE 6 assist

Jimmy Butler Miami HeatJimmy Butler Miami Heat

Butler dropped 35 points to the Celtics in Game 2, once again proving to be a major catalyst in an upset against Eastern Conference rivals Miami. Expect Mazzulla and the Celtics to put more pressure on him in Game 2, kicking him out of his midrange spots and bolstering him outside the three-point line. (Unusually he hit two 3-pointers in Game 1 — when you’re hot, you’re hot.) With Boston making a more concerted effort to stall the Clutch Player of the Year finalist, expect Butler’s assist total to rise as a natural byproduct . “Jimmy Buckets” is also a fantastic attacking midfielder to others, always reading the floor well and finding open shooters. With Max Strus, Caleb Martin and even Kyle Lowry having turned off the lights recently, don’t be surprised if Butler flirts with more dimes than fives. In his last four games, he’s racked up 30 assists, including seven more in three of four, so we think a bet on him to record seven or more tonight is as safe a pick as any.

Bam Adebayo, C, Heat – UNDER 9 rebounds

Bam Adebayo Miami HeatBam Adebayo Miami Heat

Adebayo came forward offensively in Game 1, scoring 20 points and wearing down the Celtics bigs on the inside, and for whatever reason, Mazzulla had Tatum protecting him in the post throughout much of the third quarter. Even with all of Bam’s offensive success, including 5-of-7 shooting in Miami’s 46-point assault in the third, Adebayo finished with just eight rebounds. In fact, he’s made double-digit drafts just four times out of Miami’s 12 playoff games! We like Robert Williams and Al Horford to shake the glass tonight, and with Bam continuing to be an offensive catalyst for Spoelstra’s team, don’t expect a rebounding total of nine or better from the big star man.

Al Horford, F/C, Celtics — OVER 7.5 points

Al HorfordAl Horford

Usually a subdued guy and an under-the-radar offensive element, Horford always seems to come alive and put an edge in big playoff games. When Boston needs some huge shots, Horford is ready perched outside the three-point line. If a big offensive board is needed, he sneaks in and gets away with it. He is one of the most unsung veterans in the association, despite his fingerprints appearing on each of the Celtics’ recent postseason runs. During that two-year playoff span, Horford averaged just under 10 points per game after a loss, and we’re counting on the reliable Vet to put up eight or more tonight.

Robert Williams, C, Celtics — UNDER 0.5 steals

Roberto Williams 05052023Roberto Williams 05052023

Time Lord was one of the x-factors of the first half of Game 1, even though he had a bit of a struggle covering drops at times. If Mazzulla can clear up Boston’s issues with high screen-and-roll protection, we expect Williams to come out a man on fire in Game 2. The Celtics great was instrumental in Boston’s postseason success in the last two years. However, Williams enjoys far more success as a blocker and rim protector than a sweeper. He has recorded a steal in just one of Boston’s last five games and just twice in eight games since Game 1 of the semifinals against Philly. This seems like a fairly easy UNDER bet. It’s not the Time Lord’s role to bet to steal or dive to the ground for turnovers. He’s got an edge and a knee to protect!
