The first win at the new stadium is Morioka University Spring High School Baseball Iwate Prefectural Tournament | Iwate Nippo IWATE NIPPO

On the first day of the 70th Tohoku District High School Baseball Tournament in Iwate Prefecture on the 19th, five first-round games were held at the Kitagin Ball Park in Morioka City, etc., and the opening game of the new stadium was 7 innings with Morioka University scoring 16-3. Defeated Morioka Merchant and marked the history of the first victory. Morioka Chuo defeated Kujihigashi 8-7, and Miyako Shoko defeated Ichinoseki Hajime 13-3.

At Hanamaki Baseball Stadium in Hanamaki City, Hanamaki Minami won 6-1 against Ichinoseki, who was ranked 4th in the Autumn Prefectural Tournament, and Morioka San defeated Hanamaki Kita 8-3.

On the 20th, the second day, the remaining five games of the first round will be played at both stadiums.
