VIDEO ⟩ Kraken regains series lead against Stars

In the semi-finals of the Western Conference, the result in the series up to four wins has become 2-1 in favor of the Stanley Cup debutants “Kraken”.

No goals were scored in the first period, while in the second third the home team “Kraken” managed to score five pucks in the opponent’s goal and gain a decisive advantage.

Jordan Eberle, Alexander Wenbury, Carson Soucy, Matthew Benir, Eli Tolvanen, Yanni Gord and Justin Schultz scored one goal each for the Kraken on Sunday, while Mason Marchment and Jani Hackenpä scored accurately for the visiting team.

The fourth game of the series will be played in Seattle on Tuesday.

In the first round of the Stanley Cup, the Kraken unexpectedly beat last season’s champion Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in the series, while the Stars won the series against the Minnesota Wild 4-2.

The winners of the 2022 Stanley Cup became the Colorado Avalanche, who defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning, the winners of the previous two seasons, 4-2 in the final series. Both of last year’s finalists lost in the first round of the playoffs this season.
