Hanfmann needed exactly two hours to beat Belucci 7:6 (3) and 6:4. The Karlsruher’s next opponent has already been determined: it will be the Czech Zdenek Kolar.
With Dominik Koepfer, another German still has a chance of a place in round two today. Koepfer meets Hungary’s Zombor Piros.
Maximilian Marterer was eliminated yesterday against Dan Added from France.
