The New Orleans Pelicans player, CJ McCollum, has recently gone through the microphones of the program ‘The Ryan Russillo Show‘ where he has spoken about the current situation of his team, and among many other things about the future of his teammate Zion Williamson.
McCollum believes that Zion’s possibilities can be endless, as long as he wants to show it. “We have already had several very serious conversations. Not just me, but Larry (Nance Jr.) as well, and I’ve always told him, ‘You can be as good as you want, and that’s not for everyone.’ The level of the best version of him is not something that everyone can reach, “he explained.
“His ceiling is like nothing the NBA has ever seen before. But it’s up to him to make the most of it. I can’t love it for you. Your mother can’t want it for you. Your father can’t want it for you. The technical staff cannot want it for you… Therefore, it only depends on him. It all depends on what you want to do in this sport because your game will go where you take it”, he highlighted.
Whoever was the number 1 in the 2019 Draft has barely played 29 official games this season due to his injuries, and his figures have been 26 points, 7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 60% shooting from the field in 33 minutes per working day.
