4 Players Rumored to be Kicked by Mauricio Pochettino from Chelsea

Bola.net – Mauricio Pochettino is ready to give Chelsea a new breakthrough after The Blues went through the 2022/2023 season very badly. Finishing in 12th position and missing the Europa competition is the Blues’ worst score in recent years.

This of course must be anticipated next season and Pochettino must improve on all fronts to bring Chelsea back to its prime. The Argentine coach was given full authority over team control, including choosing which players will stay and must leave Stamford Bridge next season.

After spending madly this season which cost 600 million Euros, now is the time for Pochettino to sort out who deserves to be kept and who should be kicked out of the Chelsea squad.

There are several names that do not fit into Pochettino’s playing scheme. These players have been linked with many big European teams who are ready to accommodate and use their services.

The first player who is allegedly not going to play under Pochettino next season is Mateo Kovacic. The Croatian player is no longer the first choice in the Blues squad this season due to his unstable performance.

Kovacic played 37 games in all competitions this season and only contributed to four goals. His two goals and two assists were not able to improve Chelsea’s performance.

The 29-year-old player is being rumored to be a target for Manchester City to replace Ilkay Gundogan who is likely to strengthen Barcelona next season. He has a year remaining on his contract and the Blues are unlikely to extend it.

If that happens, Pochettino might get an injection of fresh funds of 40 million Euros from selling Kovacic to City.

The next name also came from the midfield, namely Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The English midfielder also did not get the main place in the Chelsea squad this season and may no longer be used by his services next season.

This season, Loftus-Cheek has made minimal contributions by only providing two assists in a total of 33 matches he has played in all competitions.

AC Milan is reportedly seriously interested in signing the central midfielder. Chelsea will certainly be heartened to release their second tier player to I Rossoneri.

He has one year remaining on his contract, Loftus-Cheek’s market value is 25 million Euros and Chelsea will release him at that price range.

The next name that is quite surprising to be on this list is Mason Mount. One of the Chelsea stars under Thomas Tuchel’s coaching is ready to be released by Pochettino to make room for Christopher Nkunku who will join next season.

Mount’s performance has decreased since being hit by a hurricane of injuries. This season, he has only been able to score three goals and six assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Currently, the mainstay of the English national team midfielder has reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United and has the potential to move to Old Trafford next season. Now just waiting for the transfer fee agreement between United and Chelsea.

The cost is estimated at 85 million Euros. This is considered fantastic for a player who has one year left on his contract.

The last name likely to leave the team from West London is Christian Pulisic. The mainstay winger for the United States National Team has also failed to impress this season and is ready to be kicked out of the club next season.

From a total of 30 appearances, Pulisic has only been able to score one goal and contribute two assists in all competitions this season.

Seeing the growing rumors, Juventus reportedly intend to propose to the 24-year-old wing striker. The Bianconeri are looking for a replacement for Angel Di Maria who is likely to return to Benfica.

Coinciding with his one year remaining contract, the number 10 player will be priced not far from his market value, which is 32 million Euros.

Of the four names, who will really leave Chelsea? It will be interesting to keep track of these transfer rumors.
