After a beer shower for Leipzig coach Marco Rose: power failure at the press conference

When he was supposed to explain the great triumph, Marco Rose suddenly couldn’t be heard anymore – his players unintentionally turned off the juice for their boss: At the press conference after RB Leipzig’s cup triumph, there was a power failure.

The Saxon players had previously stormed the PK room and showered Rose with several liters of beer while bawling loudly.

As a result, there was probably a short circuit and the microphones went on strike. Without further ado, they improvised, instead of a press conference there was a pool interview with the winning coach. Rose had beaten Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 (0-0) with RB in the Berlin final.

“Winning a title, making so many people so happy, that’s something great. That’s why we all do it to be as successful as possible,” Rose said of the success. “I could now unpack my life story, tell me about my change in diet, that I’ve been drinking a little alcohol lately, but today I think I’ll do it.”
