La Mabba prestigious women’s basketball club in Amiens Métropole, has once again demonstrated its competence and dedication by receiving the 3-star label from the French Basketball Federation for the third consecutive season.
This national recognition highlights the club’s commitment to shaping future basketball stars, especially those from three priority neighborhoods of the city of Amiens. This season was marked by the inauguration of an academy in partnership with the college Caesar Frank. This project is part of the device of the educational cities of Amiens Northwith the aim of combining sporting excellence to the objectives of national education.
Obtaining the label is subject to several rigorous criteria. THE performances U13F, U15F and U18F teams in the elite championships of the last three seasons are examined. We also consider the number of club players, aged 11-18, which have been selected for departmental, regional and national gatherings. The number of graduates who joined the Hauts-de-France hope center and approved training centers, as well as the qualifications of the club’s educators are also taken into account.
These achievements highlight the vitality of women’s basketball in Amiens and Mabb’s unwavering commitment to young girls and the development of the game.
