Huntelaar (Voor-Drempt, August 12, 1983) is technical manager of Ajax and reports to director of football affairs Sven Mislintat. Huntelaar has been part of the technical management since March 2022. He will mainly focus on the flow of youth players to Jong Ajax and Ajax 1 and also on the composition and contracts of players from Jong Ajax and the youth academy.
Huntelaar: “In this role I am largely on my own two feet. But I will also be working together a lot, for example with the scouting and of course with Sven. The total picture is important for my development. We have had good discussions about this internally before we made the decision to extend.”
