Fluminense took eighth place in the Brazil Swimming Trophy, held at the Santos Dumont Aquatic Park, in Recife, between May 30th and June 3rd. To guarantee the result, the team, made up of 16 athletes and commanded by Rogério Karfunkelstein, scored 272 points.

Icaro Ludgero, responsible for 62 points, reached four finals and was the tricolor highlight. In all, there were 467 athletes and more than 90 clubs registered.
