On May 14, the Meiji University Athletic Association Hardball Baseball Club defeated Waseda University 6-3 in the second round of the Tokyo Big 6 Baseball Spring League, achieving their 43rd victory for the third consecutive season. Also, on May 21, they won the second round match against Rikkyo University 11-3, achieving a complete victory. Thank you very much for your continued support. This time, in the 2023 Tokyo Big 6 Baseball Spring League, we were able to achieve our 43rd victory for the third consecutive season, as well as our first three consecutive league titles in 85 years. This is all thanks to your continued support and encouragement. Regarding the All Japan Collegiate Baseball Championship, we will work even harder to achieve the number one position in Japan, which we were unable to achieve last year, and to achieve our team’s goal of winning the quadruple crown this year. The best nine winners were Kenichi Murata (4th year Faculty of Commerce), Taiga Kojima (2nd year Faculty of Political Science and Economics), Yuga Horiuchi (4th year Faculty of Letters), and captain Kiyoshi Ueda (4th year Faculty of Global Japanese Studies). 2009) and Taji Iimori (3rd year, School of Political Science and Economics), with five players, the largest number of students by university.
