Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz meet in the semi-finals at Roland-Garros

On the clay courts of Roland-Garros, a clash of the titans shook the center court as world number one Carlos Alcaraz rubbed shoulders with double champion in Paris, Novak Djokovic.

On the other hand, cramps came to spoil the party for the first racket in the world.

While the duel was hotly contested in the first two rounds, Alcaraz was held back by his cramps and Novak Djokovic easily won the last two rounds.

Ultimately, the Serb won the duel 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 and 6-1.

It will be a seventh career final in Paris for Djokovic who will now have to wait for the result of the match between Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev to know his opponent.

In the first set, the two dominant racquets on the circuit studied each other, but Djokovic emerged triumphant 6-3.

In the second set, the Spaniard increased the pressure a notch before winning the whole thing 7-5.

He even pulled out of his hat what could well be the most beautiful point gained of the tournament.

Alcaraz’s intensity, on the other hand, came with a heavy price as cramps set in during round three.

Ultimately, Djokovic wins 6-1 with the difficulties of his opponent and we have to take a long break at the end of the round to allow Alcaraz to resume better.

The fourth round will be substantially identical since Carlos Alcaraz never regained his mobility and he was quickly dismissed despite his combativeness. Djokovic won the set 6-1.
